Library

The library is an area of possibility opening both a window in to the soul and a door on to the world. Library and information centers in the technical institutions have been playing an important role in enriching the knowledge of the students, teachers and other members of the institution

The library in the Govt. Polytechnic College, Mattanur has a collection of above 8000 books in the different area of technical education. The functioning of the library is powered by Koha Software.

The library remains open from Monday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm. Students can borrow up to 3 books for 14 days and teaching staff can borrow up to 5 books for 14 days

Co-Operative Store

The campus has co-operative store facility in the campus with all the stationary items for the students and staff like note books, text books, drawing equipments, laboratory records etc at lower prices. The store is open on all the working days.

Canteen

College has canteen facility. A variety of South Indian food, various light refreshment and snack are provided to the students and staff of the college at a reasonable price.
Canteen is open from 8:00 AM to 5 PM on all working days.

Common Computing Facility

The Common Computing Facility (CCF) at Government Polytechnic College, Mattannur, is a state-of-the-art digital hub designed to enhance students’ technical skills and support their academic needs. Equipped with modern computing resources, high-speed internet, and essential software tools, the facility is accessible to all students and faculty members.

Language Lab
